TableWave, un gadget per Google Wave da Giovdi

Buon giorno a tutti! In questo periodo sono parecchio indaffarato tra esami all’università e progetti vari e mi rimane un po’ difficile aggiornare regolarmente il blog. Oggi però vi presento un’esclusiva per chi utilizza Google Wave.

Chi lo usa da un po’ si sarà certamente reso conto dell’impossibilità di inserire tabelle all’interno di un wavelet, ovvero un messaggio all’interno di un’onda.

Ho realizzato un piccolo gadget che permette di colmare questa mancanza: TableWave.

Ecco TableWave

TableWave, attualmente alla versione 0.1.0 beta rilasciata oggi, permette di inserire una tabella all’interno di un wavelet e di lasciarla lì in modo permanente. L’uso è estremamente semplice ed intuitivo tanto da non richiedere particolari istruzioni.

Per provarlo subito, basta aggiungere un gadget da URL e indicare il seguente indirizzo:

http://tablewave.giovdi.it/gadget.xml

Creare una nuova tabella

Creare una nuova tabella è facilissimo: basta aggiungere il gadget, indicare la dimensione e premere Create.

La tabella verrà visualizzata in modalità edit per inserire i dati. In questa modalità, ogni textarea rappresenta una cella. Con Google Chrome è possibile ridimensionare ogni textarea grazie al triangolino in basso a destra per avere una maggiore visibilità del testo fino al termine della modifica.

I + ed i – alle intesazioni consentono di aggiungere e rimuovere le colonne e le righe della tabella. L’aggiunta di una colonna avverrà sempre a destra, mentre una riga sarà sempre sotto quella cliccata.

Completata l’aggiunta dei dati, premendo Save la tabella verrà salvata e visualizzata in modalità view senza le textarea per permettere una visualizzazione chiara e semplice.

Good day to all! Today I’m going to present to you an exclusive for those who use Google Wave.

Who is using it for a while will certainly notice the impossibility to insert tables into a wavelet, a message in a wave.

I’ve realized a little gadget that allows you to fill this lack: TableWave.

Here’s TableWave

TableWave, currently at version 0.1.0 beta released today, allows you to insert a table within a wavelet and leave it there permanently. The operation is extremely simple and is intuitive enough to not require instructions.

To try it now, just add a gadget by URL and enter the following address:

http://tablewave.giovdi.it/gadget.xml

Create a new table

Create a new table is easy: just add the gadget, indicate the size and press Create.

The table appears in edit mode for entering data. In this mode, each textarea represents a cell. With Google Chrome you can resize each textarea through the triangle on the bottom right to get greater visibility of the text until the end of the changes.

The + and – at the header allows you to add and remove columns and rows in the table. A new column will always appear to the right of the clicked +, a new row will always be below it.

Finished adding data, pressing Save, the table will be saved and displayed in view mode without the textarea to allow a clear display and simple.
